Overview
Formula Student (FS) is Europe's most established educational engineering competition and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018. Backed by industry and high-profile engineers such Patron, Ross Brawn OBE, the competition aims to develop enterprising and innovative young engineers and encourage more young people to take up a career in engineering. Head of Media at FS Kevin Johnson reached out to Vision by Faris Founder Faris Khalil with the up-most important task of being the Lead Video Editor for the 12 head strong Media team. This was an exciting task with a lot of responsibility.
Results
Vision by Faris Founder Faris Khalil stepped in to be a creative, efficient and inspiring Video Editor Lead for the FS Media team in 2019. This project was an incredible experience to be part of, it was amazing to work with the FS Media team to produce powerful content that captures and promotes the event. What was also an amazing experience is on the final night's of the event's there were closing parties where Faris's edits and the teams work were played to an audience of 2000+ with lot's of cheers, laughs and woo's received.

Throughout 3 days at Silverstone racetrack Faris supported our 12 head strong Media Team as lead Video Editor. From the get go he was super dedicated and passionate. He integrated seamlessly into our team and was such a joy to work with. The delivery of his edits was always on time and to a superb quality, no matter the source material. This was especially impressive given the extreme time constraints of having to finish multiple edits on the same day and occasionally having to have finished videos 3-4 hours after being given the raw material!
